ESQUIRE:TSOVET's New Racecar-Inspired Watch

Limited-edition watch alert: Given that watchmaking and racecar-driving both have a lot do with split seconds and precision movement, it makes sense that TSOVET teamed up with the Chip Ganassi Racing Team — which has logged nearly 150 wins in various classes since 1994 — on the nice new watch above. With a gun metal case, a Valjoux movement from Switzerland, and some excellent red detailing (inspired by the team's colors), it's the sort of timepiece that would look great even on the wrists of those who aren't NASCAR fans. Act soon when it launches in May, though: The Tsovet SVT-GR44 is limited to 50 individually-numbered watches.

ESQUIRE:The Ralph Lauren Safari

The watch aficionados at Hodinkee present the new Ralph Lauren RL67 Safari. Featuring a canvas strap and Jaeger LeCoultre chronograph movement wrapped in galvanized steel, it's equal parts luxe and casual — a balance that's hard to achieve in any category, let alone timepieces. NATO straps are everywhere these days, a long-coming and welcome transition to more approachable watches — and this new release from RL is a perfect upgrade to the one you have. Which a face that handsome, you might even get around to finally using that tachymeter.
This, and many, many more watches, at Hodinkee

ESQUIRE:Fashion Week Shoe Porn: Cole Haan Lunar Grand

Last night, Cole Haan invited a small group to their Soho store to unveil the Lunar Grand, a hybrid shoe that elevates the colored-sole trend by attaching Nike's neon "Lunarlon cushioning system" — some light-as-hell, advanced, running-shoe material — to a work-appropriate suede wingtip. The results, as you can see above, are exciting. If you're in New York, they're on sale beginning today down at the store. And if you're not in New York? Well, find someone you know who lives here stat.

We came, we saw, we conquered — and now, sad to say, New York Fashion Week has once again come to an end. We've just come from the Gant by Michael Bastian show, where the very busy designer showed a second collection that was heavy on punk-prep layers, bright colors, and cargo pants, all worn by models that actually seemed like they were having fun. Our favorites from that show, and more than 75 best looks are now wrapped up in the slideshow below. There, and above, you'll see even more from Band of OutsidersBilly ReidJoseph AbboudRobert GellerRag & BoneJ.Crew and the rest of the excellent designers whose work we had the pleasure of seeing this week.
