One hundred and eleven years ago, Saucony was born, named after a creek in Pennsylvania that became the inspiration for their logo design. The creek flow inspired the logo's curved S, and the three holes represent the boulders on the creek bed. Who knew? Today, one of the oldest shoe companies in the U.S. still offers one of the coolest old-school sneakers around. The Jazz Low Pro has been slimmed down from the 2002 original style, making it perfect for the fashion-obsessed crowd. I love this neutral grey-and-white version, but go for a bright pair as well and clash your laces: you get two colors with every pair.
$53. Available at Saucony.com.
