Românii se căsătoresc la vârste tot mai înaintate

Tot mai puţini români au curajul să spună „Da” în faţa ofiţerului de stare civilă. Din acest motiv se înregistrează din ce în ce mai puţine căsătorii, iar cei care-şi pun pirostiile o fac la vârste din în ce mai înaintate.

În septembrie 2010 au existat cu 2162 mai puţine căsătorii comparativ cu aceeaşi lună a anului 2009. “România a avut o nupţialitate mai ridicată în trecut, însă şi acum rata de căsătorii, de cinci mariaje la mia de locuitori, este o valoare semnificativ mai bună decât în alte ţări din spaţiul european". Motivele pentru care românii amână mariajul sunt posibilităţile financiare reduse, o criză a locuinţelor pentru cei tineri, cât şi o transformare a valorilor legate de familie şi căsătorie, este de părere prof. Vasile Gheţău, directorul Centrului de Cercetări Demografice "Vladimir Trebici". Situaţia este alarmantă şi în restul Europei. Vecinii noştri bulgari trec prin acelaşi impas, iar tot la fel de prost ca noi stau şi ţări precum Germania, Elveţia, Franţa sau Spania.

Johan Lindeberg's NYC-based BLK DNM announced their first foray into the fragrance game yesterday evening at Art Basel in Miami. The scent Perfume 11, is named for 2011, which marked the launch of the BLK DNM brand; it's unisex, versatile, and inspired by Lindeberg's own tastes (read: downtown NYC edge meets Parisian chic), as well as fond memories of the ladies in his life. Lindeberg tells the Eye:

"While some brands wait years to launch a perfume, I felt like now was the right time. This year is special: it has been tumultuous and full of revolution and energy. It feels like the new 1968, when new values were being created all over the world. The scent, like everything BLK DNM, is about freedom of expression. Art Basel Miami seemed like the right place to introduce it since it's an interdisciplinary creative hub and full of energy"

BLK DNM held a party last night to celebrate Perfume 11's launch, which took place at the concept shop at the Webster. It will be available there, in BLK DNM's NYC shop at 237 Lafayette Street in SoHo, and online at BLKDNM.com. $125.

Studiu: Şefii răi îţi distrug căsnicia

Dacă ai un şef nasol, sunt şanse mici să ai parte de o căsnicie fericită, potrivit unui studiu al Baylor University, publicat în revista Personnel Psychology.

Studiul a fost realizat în rândul a 280 de cupluri şi a arătat că persoanele care au şefi agresivi sunt mult mai dispuse să se certe acasă cu partenerii de viaţă.

"Angajaţii cu manageri impulsivi duc acasă experienţele proaste de la locul de muncă şi îşi distrug mult mai uşor căsniciile sau relaţiile cu partenerii de viaţă", se arată în studiu.

Comportamentele şefilor care au un impact negativ în viaţa personală a angajaţilor sunt foarte diverse. Unii manageri ţipă des la angajaţi, alţii le spun că ideile lor sunt stupide sau că sunt incompetenţi, aproape toţi îi supraîncarcă angajaţii cu sarcini sau îi forţează să muncească în afara programului.

Prognoza meteo pentru următoarele 3 luni

Administraţia Naţională de Meteorologie a făcut publică prognoza meteo pentru lunile decembrie, ianuarie şi februarie. Regimul termic mediu al iernii va fi apropiat de media climatologică, cu tendinţa de a depăşi  valorile normale mai ales în sudul şi estul ţării.

Cele mai ridicate valori termice pot depăşi 15°C în sudul ţării, iar cele mai coborate pot fi sub –25°C în depresiunile din nordul şi centrul ţării. Cantităţile de precipitaţii vor depăşi valorile medii climatologice în jumătatea nordică, iar în rest vor fi apropiate de valorile normale.

DECEMBRIE. Regimul termic mediu va fi în general apropiat de media climatologică. Valori peste media climatologică se pot înregistra în sudul ţării. În intervalele calde din cursul lunii, temperaturile maxime pot depăşi 10°C în sud. În nopţile cele mai reci, din partea a doua a lunii, temperaturile minime pot coborî sub valoarea de -20°C în depresiunile din nordul şi centrul ţării. Cantităţile de precipitaţii vor depăşi valorile medii climatologice în jumătatea nordică a ţării, iar în rest vor fi apropiate de valorile normale. Ninsorile pot fi asociate temporar cu intensificări ale vântului mai ales în zona montană. Se va produce polei, iar în nopţile reci va fi  ceaţă cu depunere de chiciură.

IANUARIE. Temperaturile medii lunare vor depăşsi valorile medii climatologice în cea mai mare parte a ţării. Vor alterna intervale calde, când temperaturile maxime vor  fi mai mari de  10°C în sudul  ţării, cu răciri accentuate în care  temperaturile minime pot coborî sub –25°C, în depresiunile din nordul şi centrul ţării.  Cantităţile de precipitaţii vor fi în general normale. Pe areale restrânse din vestul, centrul şi nord-estul ţării se pot acumula cantităţi mai mari decât în mod obişnuit. Temporar ninsorile vor fi asociate cu intensificări ale vântului mai ales în regiunile extracarpatice. Vor fi condiţii de ceaţă cu depunere de chiciură. Local se va produce polei. 

FEBRUARIE. Temperaturile medii lunare vor fi apropiate de valorile normale ale acestei luni, exceptând regiunile estice unde se pot înregistra depăşiri ale normelor climatologice.  În zilele cele mai calde, temperaturile maxime pot  depăşi 15°C în sudul ţării. În nopţile cele mai reci, temperaturile minime pot coborî sub –15°C, în depresiunile din centrul şi nordul ţării.  Cantităţile de precipitaţii vor avea tendinţă spre excedent în vestul, centrul şi nordul ţării, iar în rest vor fi în general normale. Temporar vântul va prezenta intensificări cu viteze mai mari în zona de munte. Local se va produce ceaţă.

Prezent în platoul emisiunii CANCAN TV pentru a îi ura "La mulţi ani!", Andreei Mantea, Liviu Vârciu s-a dat în spectacol pe blues.

El a vrut să o impresioneze pe Mantea cu un dans slow, despre care Vârciu crede că face minuni în dragoste. "Atfel te duci acasă şi faci dragoste după un blues", a declarat Vârciu la CANCAN TV.

"Prietena ta brunetă nu se supără dacă ne vede împreună? Eu sper să te indragostesti, pentru ca esti o persoană foarte sensibilă", l-a "înţepat" prezentatoarea pe Vârciu făcând referire la o aparitie a actorului alături de o brunetă misterioasă.

Jaguar C-X16 concept revealed [w/video]

If you're wondering about the future of the XK, this isn't it. No, what Jaguar is set to reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week is far more ambitious. This is Jag's Porsche Cayman-fighting two-seater – a Jaguar coupe you can actually afford.

Powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 putting out 376 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, the C-X16 concept takes Jaguar's great heritage of supercharging into the next century with the addition of a "Push to Pass" hybrid system controlled through a steering wheel-mounted button.

An electric motor is integrated into the eight-speed gearbox, delivering an additional 92 hp and 173 lb-ft of twist when the button is pressed. The resulting performance numbers – 0-60 in 4.3 seconds and a 186 mph top speed – are almost as impressive as the 165 g/km C02 emissions and the C-X16's ability to travel up to 50 mph on electric power alone.

Juice is provided by a 1.6kWh battery pack mounted behind the rear seats, helping to contribute to the 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution. And if you're wondering, we understand the engine compartment could fit a V8, assuming Jaguar wants to move it up the price scale.

As for the styling, it's as good as anything from Ian Callum, Jag's Director of Design, but we'd be remiss not to say that it looks a little dated. Gorgeous, no doubt, but in the same way the XK is a stunner, but fails to quicken our pulse when we see one on the road. Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale hits the stage

Following a bit of an early leak ahead of its actual debut on the eve of the 2011 Frankfurt Motor 

Show,Lamborghini has gone ahead and pulled the sheets off its Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale for real. And it's a beauty.

Looking rather fetching in its flawless coat of Rosso Mars paint, which the automaker proudly claims recognizes Italy's famous red racing cars, this latest version of Lambo's V10-powered supercar is based on the LP570-4 Blancpain Edition that was unveiled at last year's Paris Motor Show. That means it weighs 2,954 pounds and makes good use of its 570 horsepower to hit 0-62 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds.

That massive rear spoiler is manually adjustable to help keep the wheels on the ground, and both it and the car's hood are crafted from carbon fiber. Lamborghini will happily plaster the interior with carbon goodness in place of the standard black and red motif, surely for an extra charge.

Only 150 of these special Gallardos are earmarked for production, in either the aforementioned red hue or, optionally, in Grigio Telesto or Bianco Monocerus. Feel free to read all the details in the press release after the break, and be sure to check out our live gallery of high-res images.

2012 Lotus Exige S gets supercharged six and pays the price in pounds

Lotus may have gone off the reservation with its plan to be all things to all people (again), but at least a few engineers back in Hethel still seem to have their heads on straight. And here's proof.

The next generation Exige gets a reworked body and tweaked interior, but the real news is under the clamshell. Lotus has pulled the 3.5-liter, supercharged V6 from the Evora S and slotted it into the back of the Exige S to create a 2,380-pound, 346-horsepower track sled designed and engineered to be, in the words of CEO Dany Bahar, "the ultimate Lotus experience."

Although the 200-plus pound weight increase isn't something Lotus founder Colin Chapman could get behind, the performance should be more than enough to make even hardened Lotus aficionados temporarily forget the "add lightness" edict.

Specially-developed Pirelli P-Zero Corsas are fitted at all four corners, while the Lotus Dynamic Performance Management (DPM) system allows drivers to switch between Touring, Sport and DPM Off traction control modes. Option up for the Race Pack, and "Race" is included in the settings, along with Launch Control and a reworked suspension.

Two interior packages – Premium and Premium Sport – will be offered when the Exige S goes on sale next year, but Lotus isn't giving out performance figures just yet. But considering the current Exige S does 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, it's safe to assume the added grunt will bring that figure down deep into the threes, and have the handling chops to match.
