When perusing the red carpet for The Rum Diary, one of our oft-held maxims comes to mind: You Are Not Johnny Depp. While many men in Hollywood are following the seventies, swanky, colorful suiting we've been seeing on the runway — DB anyone? — here's the swankiest of them all in a three-piece windowpane suit that looks cool on him, somehow, despite the undesirable fit. Meanwhile, his nails are painted blue, he's covered in chains, and that hat's competing with his facial hair for the Egregious Error Above the Neck Award. Still, that's personal style defined. And for better or worse, Depp has plenty of it. Just don't try to steal his as you develop your own.
