There are watches and there are heirlooms. And, like one of those Venn Diagrams from your younger days, few timepieces land in both circles. Most days, as friends discuss pieces they want to invest in, the word "watch" is what they're suggesting for their own wrists. But, as a pal of mine once said: "No one wants to hand down a polar fleece to their kids."
I think he was on to something. And, with that in mind, here are ten watches for The Style Blog's Watch Month, all of which are worthy of keeping in your family for generations to come. Or, at least, making others jealous of your children.
